Donald Driver Announces 2016 Driven To Achieve Award Recipients, $200,000 in Donations to Wisconsin Organizations

Green Bay Packers Super Bowl champion and all-time leading receiver Donald Driver today announced he will honor five Wisconsin individuals for their outstanding community efforts at the Donald Driver Foundation’s Third Annual Driven to Achieve Awards presented by BMO Harris Bank. Journey House Chief Executive Officer Dr. Michele Bria, Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare President Coreen Dicus-Johnson, Kohl’s Corporation Chief Executive Officer Kevin Mansell supporting Penfield Children’s Center, Silver Spring Neighborhood Center Executive Director Anthony McHenry, and Sojourner Family Peace Center Executive Director Carmen Pitre will each be presented with an award and a $40,000 donation to their respective organizations at the March 19 event.
“As I look around at this year’s class of award winners, it amazes me to think of all the lives they have touched,” said Donald Driver. “They inspire me and I’m hoping that by sharing their stories we can motivate everyone out there to be a positive force for change. It’s truly an honor to be able to help support their missions while putting $200,000 back into our local Wisconsin community.”
Donald Driver’s Driven to Achieve Awards presented by BMO Harris Bank was created to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of multiple charities, companies and community leaders on a national and local level. In the program’s first two years, more than $425,000 has been donated to charitable organizations including the MACC Fund, Sharp Literacy, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Blessings in a Backpack and others.
In addition to BMO Harris Bank, other corporate community leaders supporting the program include MillerCoors and Jockey.
Hosted at Milwaukee’s historic Pfister Hotel March 19, the black-tie awards event will feature multiple, soon-to-be-announced celebrity guests and musical acts. Past guests have included seven-time Grammy Award winner Gladys Knight, “Black-ish” Producer and Lead Actor Anthony Anderson, then “Good Morning America” host Josh Elliott, Emmy Award winning actress and comedian Sherri Shepherd, and recording artist Gavin DeGraw.
Community leaders and interested parties can participate in this event via the following sponsorship levels. Tables of 10 will be filled in on a first-paid, first-position order within the category of support donated.

- Loving Hearts Partnership – Table for 10, preferred seating, Donald Driver autographed gift for table captain and guest – $10,000
- Community Influencer Partner – Table for 10 with two VIP tickets to exclusive meet and greet with Donald Driver & other celebrity guests, VIP seating close to the stage and additional benefits. – $15,000
