Donald Driver Announces “Give With Target” Partnership

onald Driver appeared on Good Morning America today to announce he is partnering with Target for the return of its Give With Target program, a one-of-a-kind giving campaign that will donate up to $5 million for K-12 schools across the country.
“I’ve always been a huge supporter of education through my own Foundation,” Driver said, “So when I heard Target was giving $5 million to schools this year and $1 billion by 2015, I knew it was something I needed to be a part of.”
Beginning today, visitors to Target’s Facebook page cast votes for the K-12 school of their choice via the Give with Target app. Once a school has received 25 votes, Target will donate $1 per vote, with a maximum donation of $10,000 per school until September 21, or until the full $5 million has been allocated.

Alongside Driver, Target has enlisted a team of celebrities to help get the word out to schools. Actress and television personality, La La Anthony, country music recording artist Luke Bryan, award-winning actress and activist, Sophia Bush, and two-time Gold Medal Olympic all-around champion, Gabrielle Douglas are joining as campaign spokespersons.
